In the 2022 vintage, we are bringing our Abtsberg, Herrenberg and Bruderberg monopoly vineyards back to the origins of their history. With increasing experience, the strengths and challenges of our individual monoply sites will become clearer and legitimize the historically documented differences - this will also be reflected in the price structure in the future.

The extremely steep Abtsberg, for example, demands top performance from us in terms of manual labor, but only produces extremely limited quantities. The Herrenberg occupies the majority of the slope and is climatically more varied due to the forest that largely surrounds it. The Bruderberg is the smallest and coolest site on the mountain; depending on the vintage, its wines are heterogeneous but always very expressive.
